CYM (Catholic Youth Movement)
CYM in Chicago is a youth organization under the Syro Malabar Church, which mainly targets youth who are born and brought up in Kerala (India). The Mission of CYM is to achieve integral development of the youth and to provide youthful vibrancy to the church and the community, in accordance with the catholic values. CYM gives importance to the Kerala culture along with catholic traditions. Youth between the age of 15 - 35 are eligible for membership.
CYM holds its meeting the first Sunday of every month after the 11am Holy Mass in malayalam. During the meeting, members discuss and plan both spiritual and social activities that promote the development of the youth.

CYM is organizing a Holiday Family Photo Session to provide a wonderful opportunity to take pictures with your loved ones. Professional Photographers will be available on Nov 15th , 22nd , 29th and Dec 6th to capture these happy moments in the Parish hall between 9 am to 2 PM. The cost of the Photo session will be $50 and digital copies of the photos will be digitally delivered in 2 days or ready to collect on the following Sunday.CYM is intending to raise fund from this event as an initial part of 2016 St Thomas Syro Malabar feast fund.
Syro Malabar Cathedral Picnic 2015 will be held on Saturday Aug 1st, 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM
